Have you seen any financial calculations on how to transform a traditional software business to SaaS-based that would show the impact on income- and balance sheet statement incl. cash-flow statements?
Traditional large software license and maintenance revenue is transformed to smaller monthly/quarterly payments and this will have an impact on ISVs software vendor’s cash-flow statements.
I put out the same question to LinkedIn.com groups and have not received any answers... The answer was put to three groups consisting of 25k members in all... Doesn't that tell you something....
