ISV's development partners have started exploring different business models. All this while majority development partners used a monthly billing or fixed price / turn key model. ISVs may have had good and bad experiences with such models. As a result of which ISVs started asking for more "skin in the game" kind of business models. Sharing some of them for reference:
Cost Plus model
SLA based model
Revenue Share Model
Outcome based Model
Each of them are unique in nature and services companies (like SpadeWorx.com) are engaging with customers to share the risk with the ISV. Outcome - Development partners would either make a lot of money or they wont. If the ISV is successful, their development partner would be too.
